I Am a Loving Father

It’s one thing to hear about God’s deliverance or to read about it in the Bible—but it’s an entirely different experience to feel it for yourself. On the night of September 30th, 2022, I encountered the most profound moment of my life. God descended upon our intercession service, and He had my name on His agenda. He came to heal a deep, hidden wound that had shaped my entire existence: my childhood scar.

I had always been aware of this inner-child wound, and in my quest for healing, I attended countless seminars and sought out the wisdom of renowned coaches. But little did I know, my Heavenly Father had a due date for my healing—a date marked by His divine intervention. That Friday night was that date.

As I lay on the floor, crying uncontrollably, I heard His voice echo in my spirit: “It’s safe, you can come out now.” In that moment, I saw myself as a little girl, shoved into a dark corner, trembling with fear, rejection, and shame—emotions that had plagued my adulthood without me even understanding their source.

But in that sacred moment, God showed me their origin. He took me back to my childhood, dove deep into those painful memories, and began to heal them. Though I felt the pain again that night, I wasn’t alone. My Father had come for me. He called me out of the darkness and restored me with the power of His love.

Since that night, my life has been forever changed. The healing I experienced that night has reshaped who I am. No longer bound by the scars of my past, I am walking in the freedom and love of a Father who is always there to heal, restore, and deliver
